Level 6 Advanced Micropigmentation Treatments

The Level 6 Advanced Micropigmentation Treatments  provides a nationally recognised qualification and progression pathway for those  working in the beauty industry, and who are already experienced and qualified to  carry out a range of aesthetic techniques and wish to progress to more providing  more advanced treatments.   

The aims of this qualification are:  

  • To develop an understanding of advanced micropigmentation treatments  
  • To demonstrate competence at carrying out advanced aesthetic  treatments.   
  • To provide a progression route within the beauty industry, for those interested  in providing advanced aesthetic treatments.

Course details

Learners for this qualification must: 

  • Hold the Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Treatments and Skin Science,  or an equivalent qualification.  

OR  

  • Have at least 5 years of verifiable experience working within the beauty industry. 

  • Health and Safety in a Salon Environment  
  • Infection Control and Prevention for Cosmetic, Aesthetic and Needle Related Treatments  
  • Professional Practice for Aesthetic Practitioners 
  • Principles and Practice of Advanced  Micropigmentation 

This qualification is delivered by a blend of face to face & online sessions. 

This qualification is made of of practical assessments and assignments.
