Level 2 Diploma for Nail Technicians

The Level 2 Diploma for  Nail Technicians  provides a nationally recognised  qualification for those working or wanting to work in the beauty industry, and who wish to develop and demonstrate their competence at providing a range of beauty  therapy treatments.    

The aims of this qualification are:  

  • To develop an understanding of the range of beauty therapy treatment services.  
  • To demonstrate competence at carrying out a range of beauty therapy  treatment services, in accordance with health and safety requirements.   
  • To provide a progression route within the beauty industry, for those interested in  providing beauty therapy treatment services.

Course details

There are no set entry requirements for this course. 

  • Maintain health and safety in the salon
  • Working in a Salon Environment 
  • Carrying Out Client Consultation as a  Beauty Professional 
  • Anatomy and Physiology for Nail  Professionals    
  • UV or Gel Polish Treatments  
  • Basic Nail Art Services   
  • Removing Nail Enhancements  

Plus a choice of at least one optional unit. 

This qualification is delivered by a blend of face to face & online sessions. 

This qualification is made of of practical assessments and assignments.
