The Level 2 Infection Control and Prevention in Aesthetic Practice  provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working in the beauty  industry, particularly within aesthetic practice, who wish to demonstrate their  knowledge and understanding of infection prevention and control. This qualification  would be useful for new entrants into the profession, as well as experienced  practitioners undertaking continuous professional development.    

The aims of this qualification are:  

• To develop an understanding of best practice on infection control and  prevention.  
• To provide an introduction to infection control for new entrants to the beauty  profession, or a refresher for experienced individuals.
