Level 2 beauty therapy professional

The Level 2 Diploma for Beauty Therapists provides a nationally recognised  qualification for those working or wanting to work in the beauty industry, and who wish to develop and demonstrate their competence at providing a range of beauty  therapy treatments.    

The aims of this qualification are:  

  • To develop an understanding of the range of beauty therapy treatment services.  
  • To demonstrate competence at carrying out a range of beauty therapy  treatment services, in accordance with health and safety requirements.   
  • To provide a progression route within the beauty industry, for those interested in  providing beauty therapy treatment services.

There are no set entry requirements for this course. 

  • Maintain health and safety in the salon
  • Working in a Salon Environment 
  • Carrying Out Client Consultation as a  Beauty Professional 
  • Anatomy and Physiology for Beauty  Professionals  
  • Waxing the Face and Body  
  • Providing Facial Skincare Treatments 
  • Providing Make-Up Services 
  • Provide Manicure & Pedicure Services 
  • Provide Massage Services

This qualification is delivered by a blend of face to face & online sessions. 

This qualification is made of of practical assessments and assignments.
